Do you want to dream, discover, and deliver in a research academic career surrounded by colleagues who believe success requires a supportive, inclusive work environment with a balance of career success and personal well-being? We continue building our world-class team at The Ohio State University College of Nursing and invite applications for inquisitive, creative, scientifically-rigorous faculty with outcomes-focused and impactful research programs to pursue opportunities for tenure-track, research-focused positions at the assistant, associate or full professor level.

The Ohio State University’s College of Nursing ranks in the top 15 nationally in National Institutes of Health funding and invests in innovative, multi-disciplinary research teams that can effectively and creatively address the nation’s most pressing health and healthcare challenges. Our faculty conduct research across a variety of settings (i.e. acute/critical care, outpatient, community-based) and manage active, funded research programs focused on areas within two centers of research excellence – The Martha S. Pitzer Center for Women, Children and Youth and our Center for Healthy Aging, Self-Management and Complex Care. We also seek faculty to provide contributions across a wide array of areas, including health services research and the use of emerging technologies.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD in nursing or other health/social science field and are expected to maintain an independent research program. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in research evidenced by a track record of publication and a robust trajectory of extramural funding.
