Summa Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our established Sleep Medicine team at White Pond Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. This full-time opportunity offers a collaborative practice environment, a predictable weekday schedule, and an exceptional work-life balance.
The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a physician- and provider-led multispecialty practice consisting of nearly 700 providers across more than 30 specialties. As one of Ohio’s largest integrated healthcare delivery systems, Summa Health provides comprehensive care through two hospitals and more than 20 health centers throughout Northeast Ohio.
The Advanced Practice Provider will work alongside experienced Sleep Medicine specialists to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of sleep disorders. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, reviewing diagnostic testing and sleep study results, developing individualized treatment plans, providing patient education, and managing ongoing follow-up care. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Candidate Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program
- Physician Assistants must have successfully completed the national certification examination administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurses must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing, have completed an advanced practice program in their area of expertise, and maintain national certification as a CNP, CNS, or CNM
- Current Ohio license (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Current BLS certification
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
